Monique Lashbrook has extensive experience in corporate, real estate and finance transactions. Her experience includes negotiating and drafting operating agreements, purchase and sale agreements and related ancillary documents; mortgage financing documents; note acquisition documents; joint venture agreements; corporate entity documents and consents; private placement memorandums; subscription agreements; nondisclosure agreements; easement agreements; property management agreements; leases, and construction and renovation agreements. Monique also has experience in tenancy in common sponsor transactions and Regulation D Private Placement Offerings.
Monique advises and counsels on real estate acquisitions and dispositions, due diligence matters, corporate governance, entity formation and capitalization, corporate structuring, foreign blocker corporations, securities, financing transactions, bridge financing, operations, joint venture structures, landlord-tenant matters, and general business matters. She also has expertise in repositioning of multifamily office, mixed use and hospitality properties and general strategic direction. Monique has worked with institutional investors, private equity companies, foreign corporations, domestic corporations throughout the United States, and individual domestic and foreign investors in connection with corporate, real estate and financing transactions. She handles all aspects of the transaction and has experience with real estate transactions throughout the United States. Prior to joining Daspin & Aument, LLP, Monique served as general counsel to a private equity real estate investment company with a broad range of assets across the United States.
